Kim discovered the benefits of yoga when she was looking for a way to regain the flexibility she had when she was a dancer, ease her chronic back pain, and find low-impact exercise. She fell in love after her first aerial yoga class and began a regular home vinyasa flow practice after fully experiencing both the physical and mental benefits it provided.
She eventually decided to enroll in teacher training to further her own practice and also open the opportunity to share her passion for wellness with others. Kim has the ability to teach a wide variety of class styles depending on the needs of her students, but her favorite class style focuses on vinyasa flow with hamstring and hip openers.
Since becoming a yoga teacher, I have had the privilege of teaching yoga to people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience.
If you are new to yoga I will guide you through each pose and help you to find your own personal practice. If you are an experienced yogi, I look forward to practicing with you and deepening your practice. Either way, I know that you will walk away from my class feeling refreshed, invigorated, and connected. My classes combine both strength and mobility work in a dynamic, Vinyasa Flow style. I believe that yoga is for everyone and that it can truly transform your life.

My name is Mellisa and I am a student of the Universe, traveler, and a RYT from Inspirit Yoga Studio. I currently teach power yoga and vinyasa flows at the studio I graduated my Yoga Teacher Training from. I've hosted 2 acroyoga workshops with some passionate friends and always open to trying new things! I enjoy deep conversations of how we can benefit the community as well as ourselves. Animals are my weakness and good black coffee is the way to my heart. I find inspiration in people who do not give up on their dreams. I hope we can meet one day!
