Terms and Conditions

WARNING: Under Florida law, an agritourism operator is not liable for injury or death of, or damage or loss to, a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if such injury, death, damage, or loss results from the inherent risks of the agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury, death, damage, or loss. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.

• You must have a ticket to participate in or attend any farm event, we do not allow spectators.
• Treatment of animals: mistreating, chasing, screaming at, or feeding any animals is strictly prohibited unless directed by farm staff.
• Behavior: Oak Aged Farm has the right and discretion to remove anyone from the property for, but not limited to, drug or alcohol intoxication that disrupts the event, profanity, mistreatment of the goats, disruptive and/or loud behavior affecting guests, and verbal or physical abuse toward guests and/or staff.
• No refunds under any circumstances. Our events are rain or shine.
• Cancellations: In the event that we cancel due to extreme weather or low class attendance, Oak Aged Farm will move your reservation to an alternate day for no additional cost.
• Agreement of release/Waiver of liability/Media consent: By purchasing a ticket to one of our events, you agree to all terms and conditions and liability release.
• Each attendee is required to print, sign, and bring our waiver form to attend our events. Participating minors must have waivers signed by their parent or legal guardian.
• All goat yoga class participants must be at least 7 years old and any minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Goats and other farm animals are unpredictable; they may jump or climb on you, have accidents near or on you, nibble your hair, or make loud noises. You will be in close contact with our animals during our farm events.
• All farm visitors acknowledge the risks of farm/agricultural activities, including agritourism such as Goat Yoga, Family Farm Days, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oak Aged Farm and its staff from any and all injuries or losses.
• Yoga classes are not recommended for anyone with health conditions that could be bothered by close interactions with goats/animals. Also, yoga classes are not recommended for young children as our goats can and will jump. Also, it is not recommended for those that do not like interacting with animals.

GUIDELINES

Check in opens 15 minutes before class starts. Please arrive no more than 20 minutes before your event starts, and no later than 5 minutes before as to not disrupt classes. Events start right on time. After you park, please head straight to check in at the front of the barn for further instruction.

• We advise you to wear closed toe shoes and comfy clothes that cover your back and shoulders. We recommend tying back long hair as goats love to chew on everything.
• No public restrooms: We do not have public restrooms on the farm. We highly encourage you to use the restroom before coming to the farm as we will not be able to pause the class once it begins. There will be hand washing stations for you to use.
• Special Covid-19 rules and regulations for goat yoga: All participants should bring their own yoga mats, towels, water, hand sanitizer, etc.
• We will have used, clean mats available to rent for $3 each.
• We are unable to accommodate walk-ins; please make sure you have booked a spot prior to your arrival. Bookings close 2 hours before event start.
• Please do not bring snacks or try to feed the animals at the event or around the farm unless directed by staff. Animal food will be provided to you at check in.
• We take your safety and the safety of our animals very seriously at Oak Aged Farm. There will always be 1-2 staff present during each class to ensure safety and cleanliness during the yoga class.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I hereby agree to the following:  That I am participating in yoga classes during which I will receive information and instruction about yoga and health. I recognize that yoga requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in any type of yoga classes.  I represent and warrant that I am in good physical health and have no medical condition that would prevent my participation in yoga classes. 

In taking part in the Goat Yoga classes, workshops, or other activities hosted at Oak Aged Farm, LLC, I understand and acknowledge that I am fully responsible for any and all risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which might occur as a result of my participation to me, my clothing, minor children, or my property.  I will not do anything that I do not feel physically comfortable with.  I am aware that I may be encountering a variety of animals (although sweet and docile), that are still animals that can weigh up to eighty pounds, that indiscriminately excrete their waste, that have hooves/nails, horns, and teeth that can scratch, buck, bruise, rip, cut, nibble, etc.  I am aware that there is no retirement age for a yoga goat, so I may get any sized goat jumping on me at any given moment. 

I acknowledge that I have only been granted access to Oak Aged Farm, for the purpose of a planned activity and that it is my duty and responsibility, regardless of whether there are or are not signs so designating, to be or become familiar with Oak Aged Farm, LLC’s policies prior to arrival. I acknowledge that it is my duty and responsibility to not enter lands of adjacent landowners, by doing so I may be trespassing and that there may be serious, unforeseen dangers on adjacent lands. Further, I agree that I will not access Oak Aged Farm, LLC lands that have been designated off-limits or out-of-bounds as the same may be being used for other activities that could pose a danger of health or serious bodily injury from causes seen or unforeseen. I hereby indemnify and hold harmless Oak Aged Farm, LLC, its appointed officials, employees, agents, as well as adjacent landowners, tenants of adjacent landowners, or business associates, for any and all injuries or damages to person or property that I may suffer or injury or damages to person or property that my actions may cause.

I hereby grant permission to allow Oak Aged Farm, LLC to post pictures and videos of today’s event which might include me and my minor children for marketing and promotional purposes including but not limited to website, social media and any other media opportunities which arise in the future. I have read the above release and waiver of liability and media consent and fully understand its contents.  I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.

PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN’S ADDITIONAL WAIVER AND RELEASE:  For those participants under 18, this is to certify that I as the parent or guardian with legal responsibility for my minor(s), so consent and agree to their release as provided above. I understand a minor may not be left unaccompanied. In consideration of the participant being permitted by Oak Aged Farm, LLC to participate in its activities and to use its facilities, I release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oak Aged Farm, LLC, to the fullest extent permitted by law, from any and all liability and claims brought by, or on behalf of the minor participant.

MEDIA RELEASE

You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event. You grant permission to us and the Event Provider(s) to utilize your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after) for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, without further authorization from, or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf.

COVID-19 WARNING

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. You assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, or a bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether occurring before, during, or after the event, however caused or contracted, and voluntarily waive all claims and potential claims against Oak Aged Farm and their affiliated companies relating to such risks.
